Two niçois (inhabitant of Nice, France) have developed an ease opening system for plastic bags. A very large application field.

QuickBag as quick as a flash to be opened and to stay opened, without collapsing. Simple and very practical.
It’s simple when you think of it but the idea has to occur to your first. Two niçois are at the origin of this innovation; Jean-Jacques Arlotti and André Flores, specialized in building renovation. So, they know rubble. A problem, the waste. JJA explains: “ When we fill a bag, it immediately collapses. Two people are necessary. One to keep the bag opened, the other to fill it.” It’s the main reason of the germination of QuickBag’s idea.
A plastic clip is fixed on the bag’s opening. “ You just do a rotation of the clip in order to create a ring and permit it to stay upright.

It’s the life that changes for various professionals like building, gardening, local community, distribution, packing... And also for private citizen.
A European patent protects QuickBag.
It was introduced at the end of January at Lyon, in France, at the “Innovation and Do It Yourself show”.

It obtained very positive comments and three awards (First prize of industry and commerce ministry, Gold medal of SGPME, Progress prize).
A real share is born for QuickBag, and lot of orders came from garden industry, hospitals, and large-scale distribution.
“QuickBag brings a plus for costumers, even if the manufacturing cost overrun is low.”

Recycling.

A traditional wastes bag cost fifty cents of euros, excluding VAT.
“ We shouldn’t exceed fifty-six cents of euros with QuickBag. So, QuickBag generates a cost overrun of ten per cent of the bag’s prize. But it’s also a recyclable bag, reusable on average 5.000 times.”

The building industry would be the most important market for QuickBag. A building contractor uses between 100 and 1.000 bags per month.
The project leads. If the duo Arlotti-Flores has a workshop favoring small mass-production, it is also in partnership with big factories in Haute-Loire for a mass-production.
In March, the two creators, who prefer the word of innovators instead of inventors, plan to create the factory QuickBag.
